Originally founded as the Long Island Creek Watershed Preservation Alliance (LICWPA), last year we celebrated over a decade of service by expanding out efforts city-wide.

Our Mission:
The Watershed Alliance of Sandy Springs, Inc. is organized to restore and maintain the ecological balance of the watersheds of Sandy Springs, through education and monitoring, and to foster the preservation, character, and integrity of the watershed region.

Membership:
Membership is open to everyone who is interested in the watersheds of Sandy Springs and clean water. Your membership dollars help support our mission and our members are involved on many levels in a variety of efforts community wide. (Creekwalks and creek cleanups, water quality sampling and monitoring, education programs for local schools, produce community education materials, online water news, and training for our volunteers.)
